In addition to weekly discussions, we host an interactive session once a month that offers hands-on, kinetic guidance. These sessions are designed to help participants actively apply the strategies and practices from the books, such as mindfulness exercises, movement-based activities, or journaling techniques, in a way that can easily be incorporated at home. This experiential component reinforces learning and helps make wellness practices a sustainable part of daily life.
Beyond discussion and activities, the book club provides practical takeaways that participants can implement immediately. Members receive tips, tools, and exercises to enhance self-care, reduce stress, and strengthen personal boundaries. By combining reflection, action, and peer support, the club fosters a transformative environment where individuals can grow, connect, and thrive together.

Children need wellness too! Our kids are sponges for information and are often times overlooked when it comes to wellness. Kids need just as much balance, mindfulness and relaxation as adults do. They, too, get overwhelmed, angry, tired and experience a wide range of emotions. It's pivotal that we focus on our children's wellness. Allow Just Heal to teach your kids mindfulness in a friendly, engaging and safe enviormeonent. Allow the children to gain tools in social, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. Self-love is so much more than just self-care. While we often care for and support those around us, we sometimes forget to make the time for ourselves. Just Heal Wellness warmly invites the women in our community to join us in celebrating self-love, self-acceptance, and the powerful journey of embracing our authentic selves.
This year’s experience will be an enriching blend of healing art, tea meditation, and deep connection. We’ll nourish our minds, bodies, and spirits through healthy eating, thoughtful conversations, and creative expression. You’ll have the chance to unwind with a peaceful tea meditation, allowing you to center and ground yourself, while the healing art activity will help you tap into your inner creativity and self-awareness.
As we gather together, we’ll offer tools to help you continue your self-love practice beyond the event, encouraging ongoing growth and well-being. It’s not just an event—it’s a chance to nurture yourself, build meaningful connections, and walk away with resources that will support you in your personal journey.
We can’t wait to have you join us for this transformative experience!

Support groups are offered as a space where individuals can come together to share their stories, experiences, and lives in a way that helps reduce isolation and loneliness. Oftentimes, we think we are struggling alone, but support groups help us see that there are others who may dealing with similar situations and who in turn can help us get better.
In closed therapy groups, there is a trusted individual (e.g. therapist, counselor, social worker, etc.) who is in charge of approving who becomes a part of the group itself and mediates the discussion topics that are brought up throughout the course of the group’s meetings.
Closed groups provide individuals with a sense of intimacy, as well as a sense of validity because they know that the other people who engage in the group have struggle with legitimate concerns that are similar to their own; concerns that they can relate to.
High school is the bridge teens cross from adolescent to young adult. This developmental time period can be confusing, frustrating and difficult. Navigating social complexities, more challenging schoolwork, and the impending reality of adult independence right round the corner can stimulate anxiety.
When you add the aftermath of pandemic life challenges increase significantly. This group is designed to be a safe place to process the anxious feelings generated by life as a high school student. It seems like everything is changing constantly as if the ground is shaking like an earthquake. Just Heal Counseling can be a value resource in empowering your ability to process and cope.

I know my place is a group therapy to help kids struggling with the aftermath of a divorce. And adding kids to the mix of it makes it more of a struggle. Kids often feel pulled and "stuck in the middle". They don’t know who to talk to, who to believe, and what emotions are ok to feel.
The goal is to help them understand the role of parents and identify effective ways of communicating their feelings and develop coping skills to overcome the various emotions and negative thinking for future positive developmental growth stages.

This yoga class style used to relax and soothe frayed nerves.
