I’m a yogi that was deeply inspired after attending a yoga and meditation class at Indigo Gypsy Yoga.
During this time, I grew very fond of the gentle vinyasa style of yoga. I then decided to train to become a yoga and meditation teacher. I found my peace and accomplished my goal October 2019, and my life has changed in a way that mere words cannot explain. When I think about my journey and my continued journey the experience is PRICELESS.
My goal is for others to experience the mental and physical aspects of yoga and meditation through a consistent practice.
This yoga style used to relax and soothe frayed nerves. Also described as yin yoga, restorative classes use bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop students into passive poses so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. This restorative class is often found more rejuvenating than a nap.
Rather than dwelling on the conflict, solution-focused meditation asks: What would you prefer instead of the conflict? The focus is on the desired outcome: the future with a difference. Students are considered capable of formulating their own goal and of devising solutions.
